ABOUT
Hema Bafana has been treating patients for the last 25 years in Genesee County after practicing as physical therapist in India for 15+ years. Hema graduated from the University of Bombay (India) in 1978 with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Hema’s experience includes TBI, spinal cord injuries, neuro-rehabilitation, nursing home practices, home health care, & orthopaedics. She has been a clinical instructor for Baker College & Mott Community College students. Throughout her career, she has drawn on her experiences in all fields of rehabilitation, delivering relief of symptoms with her holistic approach. Hema continues her educational interests across all areas of physical therapy practice with emphasis in neuro-rehab & orthopaedics.
With over 40 years of experience, Hema is dedicated to offering personalized care for patients, helping them to recover & progress to meet their individual goals.
